Hoh man- the little compressed instagram version of this breakdown has been reposted so many times I figured it'd be good to release a version with a couple more pixels! I've been really excited about this type of workflow in terms of what it means for making crazy films in a garage, and I've been experimenting a bunch with it in the months since (tons of viewport compositing in Blender. All the CG stuff in this video is blender's realtime eevee engine, which has just been a blast).
