This is an introduction to my new channel Different Angle 3D that will bring together a series of Blender 2.90 tutorials. Building from the basics the tutorials will build the viewers knowledge as they progress through the videos. The Introduction shows some of the capabilities of this software using clips from some of the Blender Foundations open movies and includes a brief history of how and where Blender has developed from including clips from the original NeoGeo demo-reels. It then goes on to look at what I hope to produce for this series over the coming months and years. Video Timeline: 0:22 Showcase of Blenders capabilities in the hands of the skilled artists of the Blender Foundation. 1:02 A brief history of Blender. 2:19 Blenders updates 2:43 Different Angle 3D – My background, coming from a different angle to most users. 3:26 What I hope to add to the channel over the coming months. 4:26 Supporting the community with Tutorials. 4:35 2007 - Precision Modelling Guide released 5:04 2019 - 3D Computer Graphics Using Blender 2.80 - Modelling Methods, Principles & Practice book 5:30 Closing notes. Please note I have no connection or association to Blender or the Blender Foundation other than being a long term user of the software and a big fan of what it can produce in experienced hands. This introduction and video series is intended to show others what blender can do and provide a structured set of tutorials to get new users started with this excellent creative suite.
