I came across this problem while trying to follow the multitude of Youtube tutorials on Fire, explosions, mantaflow, etc. The issue is that I am using Blender 2.92.0 and most of these demos were done in 2.8ish. Spoiler for seasoned Blender users: To fix the problem change the 'Blackbody intensity' on the principle volume setting of smoke domain to 1. For those like me who need a little more nudging through a process I made this video. :-) Hope it helps someone (even if it is just me in six months from now when I have forgotten all of this!) In case anyone wants to play with them. The opening blend file is below. Blender file .blend (903KB) https://drive.google.com/u/1/uc?id=1S_rdRXgvVhU4IWUavg5TGNEiSqFbt9Mu&export=download Zip file containing .blend and baked goods (64.1MB) https://drive.google.com/u/1/uc?id=1UyQHaAbuXjzjQBWCYaWpX4qSQKeeryCL&export=download
