Making Planets in Blender can be quite difficult, especially the Atmospheric effects, since there are no atmospheric scattering nodes in Blender. In this first part I will show how to create a Earth model with textures in Blender with a "simple" atmosphere aproximation. In the next tutorial we'll add an actual volumetric atmosphere with working rayleigh scattering! Stay tuned and have a nice day! -------------------------------- Textures -------------------------------------- Color: https://visibleearth.nasa.gov/images/74218/december-blue-marble-next-generation/74220l Night Color: http://www.shadedrelief.com/natural3/pages/textures.html Height Map: https://visibleearth.nasa.gov/images/73934/topography/84331l
