This video is part of the Blender Basics introductory tutorial series, using Blender 2.93. Rather than the standard how to tutorial it is a collection of hints and tips on adding clutter to the scene. We will look at a Material Shader for butter that applies the semi-translucent property of real butter. Use Hair Particles to emit the bristles to from a broom. In Particle Edit we can cut and comb the bristles into shape. Add curtains to our window using the cloth simulator. We simulate pulling the curtains back by add Vertex Groups and using a Shape Key to adjust the pull-back before applying the simulation. 00:00 Blender Basics: 11 Clutter 01:24 Butter Material 03:42 Broom 09:43 Curtains Credits: Vanessa Bell –“The Kitchen At Charleston, East Sussex” Jupiter from the Planet Suite London Symphony Orchestra recording from 1926 See You Soon by Otis McDonald
