Hello, this is a Blender 3.0 tutorial on making a dynamic field. This is not an animation tutorial and your grass won't move like it does when the wind blows although you might be able to do that in this method. What I'm talking about is when the ground changes the grass will move with it. We will be creating a field where you can change the size, hilliness, pattern and position with geometry nodes. On top of that we'll be making grass and using geometry nodes to alter where the grass sits on the ground, how much grass you have, what different areas you want your grass in, methods to minimise clipping. On top of that no matter how you change the size or position or geometry of the ground, the grass and other objects like flowers will stay in position and attached to the grass! This method has lots of potential and the things I've listed is only some of things you can do with this method. Really the possibilities are endless. In the Video I will show you how to: 1. Give the ground organic shape using textures 2. Texture the ground so that it looks like ground 3. Model Grass 4. Texture the Grass 5. Model the Flower 6. Texture the flower 7. Use weight painting to custom distribute the flowers over the field 8.
