In this Blender tutorial I am going to show you how to make your own material textures using only a smartphone, Blender and an image manipulation software such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo or GIMP. The photogrammetry models were produced using the iOS app "Metascan" which uses the new Apple Object capture API. This tutorial will cover how to use and export models from Metascan, how to import the models into Blender, bake texture maps, create seamless textures and finally, import them back into Blender.
