Flatten an object to a UV map to bake Blender's procedural hair to a texture. This quick "tutorial" was by request from commenters in Tigro's "Blender - bake fur particle system on UVmap using geometry nodes" video, which by now has some outdated geometry nodes. I was using Blender 3.3.1 in this video. I'm still fairly new to geometry nodes myself and there's probably a better, more elegant method, but I wanted to offer this solution for the people still posting in threads asking about how to do this. An explanation of modifier values: Isolate Material / Material - Isolate materials so others aren't included in the render. If you don't care about this feature, set it to 1. Fac - Blend from 3D model to flattened. Scale - Scale the flattened model (Your particle hair will NOT scale with the model.) UVMap - The UVMap you wish to flatten your model to.
